Jane Ridgewood

Another Tea Addicted Writer On The Loose!

As a writer I think it’s only natural to want to create the perfect first line with everything we write; including blog posts. While I am excited to finally be kicking open the doors to my brand new website and blog here, I find myself at a loss of how to truly properly open with my first post. I mean there’s so much I want to talk about on here. There is so much that I want to share, and yet in the many times that I’ve sat down to write even a quick introduction post I come up blank. I can think of several things to follow up with from this first post, but this is the one post that has me struggling.

So with that, I am simply going to welcome you here! I thank you for taking the time out of your day to visit my little corner on the web. I am going to keep this first post pretty short and sweet I think as I would like to get on with the rest of the posts. I want to be able to share with everyone who wants to join me on this journey of self-publication. I want to share the progress of my debut novel and maybe even snippets from it. I want to share other writing projects I am working on and future books. Of course I plan to share about some non-writing things along the way as well.

Right now I think I am most excited to share information on my debut novel. That will happen in the near future, so be sure to come back. If you would like to know when I have made a new post I suggest following me on social media. I’m on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr. You can also subscribe to my blog by putting in your e-mail address in the lower right hand corner of the website.

I am so ready to share my journey with all of you!

XOXO, Jane
