Jane Ridgewood

Another Tea Addicted Writer On The Loose!

We have made it to the third and final award I was nominated for! Up last, but not least, The Versatile Blogger Award. By now you probably guessed I went to Google to assess the origins and meaning behind sharing this one. It seems it is geared towards bloggers who create quality, loving, and unique content. I love that there are so many awards that float out there that bloggers can share with one another. I love how supportive the blogging community really is overall. I mean, so many of these awards have been created to lift up and encourage one another. The fact that we can freely nominate and help others discovery quality blogs is just a wonderful thing to me.

So again, I need to thank Novus for nominating me this award on May 18th! Novus you are seriously a sweetheart and I appreciate that you thought so much of me, not only to nominate me for one award – but three different ones! You are amazing and incredibly kind love! Thank you a million times!

The Rules of the Award
• Thank the person who gave you this award.
• Include a link to their blog.
• Select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly
• Nominate those 15 bloggers for this award — you might include a link to this site.
• Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.

Seven Facts About Me
• I have a weird thing with even numbers, I just like them better.
• I had a heat stroke when I was 17 years old at an outdoor concert.
• I had a huge phase of reading VC Andrews books when I was younger.
• I was kind of devastated upon learning she didn’t write all of her books.
• I don’t want to just write for adults, I want to write for all ages.
• I prefer silence when I am novel writing, though sometimes soft music helps.
• I am learning as I go on my self-publishing journey.

I Nominate…
The Haunted Wordsmith

3C Style
Bitchin’ in the Kitchen

Okay, okay…I went three over on the nominations list. How could I help myself though? I mean there are so many great bloggers out there! Maybe it’s a bit of a rule bender, but maybe it’s not one that’s unforgiving? If you’ve made my nominee list, please feel free to link to your responding post to this award so I can see the seven facts about you! I would hate to take the risk and miss the opportunity going by the reader alone.

XOXO, Jane

  4. Congratulations on the three nominations! Novus did a great job by nominating you, you really do deserve it. And one thing I’d like to thank you for is the information about the meanings and origin behind these awards which I was too lazy to search over. And since I am a newbie, it actually acted as a guide. Good luck for your self-publishing journey ahead!
BTW I like even numbers better, too!

    1. Thank you very much! ❤ ❤ ❤ And you are so welcome. 🙂 No worries, when I had my original blog and received nominations from other bloggers I was too lazy to look it up then too.
